The weekend is here!

I am so excited i am going to a 12 hour crop tomorrow with Rhonda & Janell. So i will have some new layouts to post soon.

Dani & I are going to a GS Cookie rally tomorrow, the start of cookie selling season. Fun (ok not so much fun for the adults as much as work, but she is excited)

A New Year

I am yet again attempting to blog. It is mostly for my scrapping, but i might add other things if I remember to blog at all. :)

Right now as I am blogging my 2 kids are supposed to be getting ready for bed & they are fighting. My younger daughter Dani is 6 & has a wonderful new habit of screeching at the top of her lungs when her sister bothers her. Alex is 10 & she is upset because her bangs are not looking great & she wants me to help her blow dry her hair. yes someday they will read this & be embarrassed at what I say about them, but isn't part of a parents job embarrassing their children?

In 2010 I scrapped 322 pages. The past few years I have done 365 or more, but since I didn't go to an SDV retreat in 2010 i didn't get as many done. This year my friend Lisa & I are going to get together & scrap for a weekend in VA even if there is no SDV (Scrappers Dream Vacation) the weekend we want to go.

Above you will find my first layout of the year. I did it on New Years Day & I really like it. I did it for a sketch challenge for a scrapbook yahoo group I am in, we have weekly sketch challenges & I did them all. I was very proud of myself. It is pictures from 2007 when we were in California & went to Knotts Berry Farm. so this is page 1 for 2011.
